These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the rubbish removal services provided by Rubbish Removal Mates ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the customer", "you"). By requesting a quote, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

We provide residential and commercial rubbish and junk removal services across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. The scope of any job is based on the information you provide at the time of booking. Additional items or volume discovered on site may affect the final price.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are estimates based on the information and/or photos you provide and are not final until our team assesses the job on site.
• Final pricing is determined by the actual volume, weight, type of material, and ease of access at the time of collection.
• Prices are subject to a minimum charge and may exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
• We reserve the right to adjust or decline a quote where the job differs materially from what was described.

3. Bookings, Timing & Delays

We make every effort to arrive within the estimated time window and to provide same-day or next-day service where advertised. However, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All arrival times, collection windows and "same-day" or "on-time" references are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
• Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, vehicle issues, prior jobs running over, site access difficulties, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• We are not liable for any loss, cost, inconvenience or damages of any kind arising from late arrival, rescheduling, or delays in providing the service.
• Time estimates do not form part of any contract and no refund, discount or compensation is payable in respect of timing or delays.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• You must provide safe, clear and legal access to the items to be removed.
• You confirm you are the owner of the items, or are authorised to arrange their removal and disposal.
• You must ensure the information you provide (including item types and access details) is accurate.
• You are responsible for removing or securing any valuables or items you do not wish to be taken.

5. Items We Cannot Remove

For safety and legal reasons, we do not remove hazardous materials including but not limited to asbestos, chemicals, paints, liquids, gas bottles, or medical/biological waste. If such items are present, we reserve the right to decline removal of those items without affecting the balance of the job.

6. Liability

• While our team takes reasonable care on every job, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from our services.
• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for damage arising from difficult access, fragile surfaces, or items that cannot be removed without some risk (which will be discussed with you before proceeding).
• Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfer and cash. A surcharge may apply to card payments.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us as early as possible. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for call-outs where our team has already been dispatched.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to your job.
